Hello EsportsDepartment Subscribers! This year we have partnered with Thrive Fantasy to PropUp this season.

For those of you unfamiliar with what Thrive Fantasy is, it is a different version of Daily Fantasy Sports that is solely based around player props. Each prop has a designated point value to it and your goal is to score the most points by selecting five different props (players must play to count, so you cannot just select a non-starter and choose the under). The first article is going to be fore the LCS Lock-In Tournament.

Props:

My Picks:

My favorite prop is PowerOfEvil Over 1.5 Kills (90 pts). To me, this one seems like a sure thing.  TSM is a -150 favorite against 100T, and if TSM is going to win, I believe PowerOfEvil will be a core reason for their victory. During the Summer split, albeit it on a different team, there were only two total games that FlyQuest won where POE did not have more than 1 kill.

Another prop that I would suggest is CoreJJ Over 8.5 ASTs (105 pts). I am expecting Team Liquid to handle CLG easily as they are -475 favorites. CLG will be playing with two of their non-starters with Solo playing in the Top lane and Griffin filling the Jungle role for this weekend. In Team Liquid’s 22 wins in the summer split, CoreJJ had at least 9 assists in almost 70% of their games. Getting bonus points on the over here feels like a good way to get additional points.

My final prop is Blaber Over 4.5 AST (90 pts). Looking again at historical data from the summer split, there were only 8 total games from the summer split where Blaber had under 5 ASTs. I am expecting junglers to have a significant role this season. Cloud 9 is a -345 favorite against Evil Geniuses. I am expecting C9 to handle EG and with that Blaber should get over 4.5 assists.

It’s great to have League of Legends back and I hope you guys are excited as well. Download ThriveFantasy on the App Store with Promo code “TED” or Play Store or by clicking this link: https://www.thrivefantasy.com/lol&utm_source=TED.
